Achievements

Local Community Development

Local Community Development is a project that engages in capacity building activities for community-based organizations in order for them to play their role in sustainable development within their own geographic region and boost the quality of life in their societies. The main activity of this project is to support, train, promote, and encourage local civil institutions.

Youth Empowerment

The Youth Empowerment Project aims to design and implement plans for boosting the talents of the creative youths and guide them in the path of self-sufficiency and entrepreneurship. These plans have a practical approach in promoting entrepreneurship among the students, graduates, and other interested and talented youths especially in less developed regions of Iran.

Karestan Documentary Film Series

KARESTAN is a documentary film series about Iranian entrepreneurs. It tells the stories of independent women and men who take risks to change their lives and those of others by creating innovative ideas, and cultivating humane values, persevering for their dreams and against all odds and conditions transforming social realities.

Entrepreneurship Lab in Schools

The Entrepreneurship Lab in Schools is an initiative implemented with the aim of promoting creative thinking and spreading the culture of entrepreneurship among students and also encouraging talented students to enter the field of business and entrepreneurship in the future. This project is achieved through promotional, training, advisory, and supportive activities.

Research

EDF conducts practical research and case studies to identify the economic advantages and opportunities in different provinces of Iran – particularly those in the periphery – small towns and suburbs with the aim of facilitating business and social entrepreneurship.
